TEACHING

DeMonte is Professor Emerita at the University Of Maryland, College Park. During the 33 years of her teaching career, she has developed two courses, Global Art Theory and Artists Survival Seminar. She also teaches for University Honors, another course she has developed, Art Making in the Global Village. DeMonte was named Distinguished Scholar Teacher and has won the Students Award for Excellence in Teaching.
